Sources say province could bring back capacity limits in some sectors and reduce indoor gathering limits.
Stronger COVID-19 restrictions may be on the way for Ontarians.
Premier Doug Ford will address the province at 3:30 today, with some speculating Ontario may reintroduce capacity limits and cut indoor gathering limits.
Sources tell CP24 and CTV News that the province may cut indoor gathering limits to 10 people from 25, and reduce capacity limits in some sectors to 25 percent.
The same sources also say the province may change the definition of fully vaccinated to include people who have three doses.
Meanwhile, the Province of Quebec announced strict new restrictions yesterday.
These include limiting private gatherings to 10 people inside and 20 people outside. High schools in Quebec will be doing remote learning until January 10, however Primary schools in the Province will continue to open on January 3rd.
The Province of Quebec also announced capacity limits for restaurants, bars and most indoor settings. The province also cancelled all tournaments and competitions, with reduced capacity of gyms and other indoor training facilities.
