The Woodstock Art Gallery is celebrating family day with a morning movie and a special exhibition.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Art Gallery is gearing up for their annual Family Day celebrations.
The day will begin at Gallery Cinemas with a family friendly Morning Movie at 9:30 a.m. Mary Reid, Director/Curator of the Woodstock Art Gallery says you should get advanced tickets as soon as possible.
"The tickets are in advance only at the Woodstock Art Gallery and they can be purchased for $5. We do encourage everybody who would like to attend to get their tickets early - we always sell out usually about three or four days before the actual film screening."
Once the movie wraps up, Reid tells Heart FM families can check out an Interactive Bullying exhibit at the gallery.
"We have a local artist (Pat Herlovitch) who has illustrated and written a book called 'What is a Bully.' She will be in attendance and she will be doing a walk and talk at around noon with our head of education Stephanie Porter."
The first 25 families who attend on Monday, February 20th will also receive a free copy of 'What is a Bully' to take home.
Admission into the gallery is free and donations will be accepted.
