A Woodstock woman accused of trying to suffocate her mother with a pillow is being held behind bars. 62-year-old Leah Walton appeared in court via video link on New Year's Eve, and she was remanded in custody. The next appearance is set for January 14th, also by video from the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre.
