The Norwich Merchants lost to the New Hamburg Firebirds 5-3. Both teams went into the game having the same season record. But it was the Firebirds that walked away with first place in the Niagara West division. They play Simcoe on Sunday. The Navy Vets continue their losing streak with the Simcoe Storm winning 6-2 last night. They try to snap their 14 game losses tonight when they travel to Paris to face the Mounties. The Tavistock Braves beat the Norfolk Rebels 8-2. The Thamesford Trojans lost 6-3 to the Dorchester Dolphins, taking on North Middlesex tonight.
