The Woodstock-Ingersoll and District Real Estate Board raised a total of $10,242 it's Charity of Choice this year; the South Gate Centre.
WOODSTOCK/INGERSOLL - The Woodstock-Ingersoll and District Real Estate Board certainly gave back to the community this year.
It raised $41,201 for local charities and organizations this year through several events and fundraisers including the annual Realtors Care Food Drive and the Oxford County Student Scavenger hunt.
This total also includes the $10,242 the real estate board raised for it's Charity of Choice this year; South Gate Centre. Through the Ontario Realtors Care Foundation's Every Realtor Campaign, the board collected $1 for each member per month through their monthly fees. The rest of the money was raised through the grants and initiatives listed below.
- National Realtors Care Week Smile Bag Campaign ($3,200)
- Realtors Care Grant ($3,130)
- OREA Realtors Care COVID Relief Grant ($2,852)
- Member donations ($1,060)
The Woodstock-Ingersoll and District Real Estate Board is currently in the process of selecting it's Charity of Choice for 2022. Local charities have until December 31st to submit an application and those interested can send an e-mail to Mary Baxter at mary@widreb.ca for more information.
