The restrictions are put in place to accommodate snow removal during the winter months.
OXFORD COUNTY - Parking is becoming a but more difficult in Oxford County.
Winter parking season has officially begun, with restrictions already in place for Blandford-Blenheim and East Zorra-Tavistock. The restrictions for Tillsonburg, Zorra, and South-West Oxford will begin on Saturday November 15th. Woodstock, Ingersoll, and Norwich following suit on December 1st.
All of the winter parking restrictions last until March 31st with the exception of East Zorra-Tavistock. Their restrictions end on April 15th.
You can find more information regarding the winter parking restrictions for each municipality below:
City of Woodstock - No overnight parking on city streets or in select parking lots from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. starting December 1st and ending March 31st. Overnight parking will only be allowed in the Market Centre Lot, Brock Street Lot, Light Street Lot, Adelaide Street East Lot, and Cole Walkway Lot.
Town of Ingersoll - No overnight parking on any town street or in any municipal parking lot from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. starting December 1st and ending March 31st.
Town of Tillsonburg - No overnight parking on any town street from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. starting November 15th and ending March 31st.
Township of East Zorra-Tavistock - No overnight parking on any roadway in Innerkip or Tavistock from 1:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. starting November 1st and ending April 15th.
Township of Zorra - No overnight parking on any road or street from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. starting November 15th and ending March 31st.
Township of Norwich - No overnight parking on any highway in Norwich or Otterville from 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. starting December 1st and ending March 31st.
Township of South-West Oxford - No overnight parking on any street from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. starting November 15th and ending March 31st.
Township of Blandford-Blenheim - No parking on township roads between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and on County roads between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily. These restrictions begin on November 1st and end on March 31st.
