The number of homes sold in July this year was down from the total in 2025 for the Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors.

OXFORD COUNTY - There was a decrease in home sales for the Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors.

Last month, there were 163 units sold, which was down 7.4 percent from 2025. The five-year average of home sales was up by 19.7 percent for July. The average price of homes sold in July 2026 was $611,287, down modestly by 2.1% from July 2025. On a year-to-date basis, home sales totalled 1,011 units over the first seven months of the year. This was a modest 3% gain over the same period in 2025. President of the Witaar Derrek de Jonge talks about the numbers.

"After a stronger-than-usual start to the summer, July sales returned to levels more consistent with long-term seasonal patterns. At the same time, the number of newly listed homes remained robust, giving buyers a healthy range of options and helping keep market conditions relatively balanced with only a slight tilt in favour of buyers."

The number of new listings rose by 14.8% from July 2025. There were 364 new residential listings in July 2026. This was also the largest number of new listings added in July in history.
