A woman has been upgraded to fair condition after suffering life threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash near Dorchester.
DORCHESTER - Two people are recovering after a motorcycle crash on the 401 near Dorchester.
Police say the bike was carrying two people when it suffered a mechanical failure on the Highway this morning. The driver lost control and crashed the bike between Dorchester Road and Elgin road around 10:30 a.m on Saturday.
Both people on the bike were rushed to the hospital. The 47 year old driver suffered non life threatening injuries and is now listed in good condition.
The passenger, a 41 year old woman suffered life threatening injuries and is now listed in fair condition by medical staff.
The Highway was closed for about three hours on Saturday for the investigation. It has since been re-opened.
OPP say they will not be releasing anymore information about this crash.
