Nine local organizations will receive a combined total of $58,500.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock City Council has approved the latest round of Community Grant recipients.
Nine local organizations will receive $58,500 combined. The largest grants will be going to Cycles of Life and the Woodstock Curling Centre with $10,000 each. Woodstock Minor Football isn't too far behind with $9,500.
Council approves two rounds of community grants each year; one in the spring and one in the fall. A Community Grants Committee looks over all of the applications and brings a list of proposed recipients to City Council for approval.
All of the money comes from the Gateway Casinos location in Woodstock.

Woodstock Curling Centre - $10,000
Woodstock Minor Football Association - $9,500
Oxford Attack Basketball Club - $7,000
Junior Achievement South Western Ontario - $5,000
K2K Productions - $5,000
Tillsonburg & District Multi-Service Centre - $5,000
Woodstock Nationals Softball Association - $5,000
Oxford Winds Community Concert Band - $2,000
