You could now face a $50 fine if you're caught stopping in a school zone in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock By-Law Enforcement and Woodstock Police are reminding everyone that no stopping in a school zone means, no stopping.
The fines for this offence have now been increased to $50 from $15. Police and by-law offers will be enforcing this regularly.
The increase in fines and enforcement has come as both departments respond to complaints about vehicles stopping in clearly marked no stopping areas.
