WOODSTOCK - The Open Air Burning ban has been lifted for anyone who currently has a permit in the City of Woodstock.
This will take effect immediately. The City is not able issue new permits until more restrictions are lifted. In order to issue a new permit, the Fire Department needs to enter homes to see that all alarms are up to date and working, as per the bylaw.
The City is asking that permit holders abide by the rules as outlined in the bylaw.
