Police stopped the driver doing over 200 KM/h on the highway and found drugs and weapons in the car just before 2:00 a.m. this morning.
WOODSTOCK - Middlesex OPP pulled over a speeder around 2:000 am this morning and found drugs and weapons.
Police say the 29 year old from Woodstock was doing over 200 km/h on the 401 at Veterans Memorial Parkway. Police also found weapons and drugs in the car. They seized cocaine, methamphetamine and other drugs.
The 29 year old was arrested on the following charges:
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, section 88 of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Race a motor vehicle-Stunt, section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine, section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine, section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Other Drugs, section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
