A 47-year-old man from Woodstock has been charged with attempted murder following a violent sexual assault in Hamilton.
HAMILTON - A man from Woodstock has been arrested after police responded to a sexual assault report in Hamilton.
Officers were called to a home at around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. Police say the victim was a woman in her 40s who was working in the sex trade.
Hamilton Police have charged 47-year-old Peter Anthony Pasco with attempted murder.
Police say Pasco is known to travel "over a large geographical area" and they believe there could be more victims out there. They're encouraging victims to contact the Hamilton Police Sexual Assault Unit by calling their non-emergency line at 905-540-5553.
