Oxford OPP responded to an impaired driver in Norwich Township and laid charges against a Woodstock man.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - A Woodstock man is facing charges after being stopped by Oxford OPP.
Officers were dispatched to Highway 59 in Norwich Township on Friday at 7 p.m. to reports of a vehicle driving erratically. The vehicle was found and a traffic stop was conducted.
As a result, a 43-year-old Woodstock man was charged with operation while impaired by alcohol, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus. He is facing a 90-day license suspension and a 7-day vehicle impoundment.
He was released from custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on April 1st.
