Woodstock Police dealt with stolen cars, break ins and domestic calls over the weekend.
WOODSTOCK - It was another busy weekend for Woodstock police who responded to 142 calls for service.
One of those calls came early Friday morning at 3:00 am after a break in to a home on Norwich Ave. Police say the thief or thieves broke into the property to steal jewelry. A vehicle key was also taken. On Saturday the suspects returned and stole a White Ford Focus.
Police did recover the vehicle on Monday and were able to trace back the stolen property. However no arrests have been made.
On Saturday a garage was broken into on Parkinson Road around 3:30 a.m. Police were called after the owner of the house noticed two people in their garage. They fled the scene quickly, only making off with a GPS unit.
Police also had 14 domestic calls over the weekend and arrested a 56 year old man for allegedly assaulting his wife.
