Police are asking the public to ensure that their phones are locked and kept away from small children. Police request that should the public be aware that they have made a 9-1-1 call in error that they remain on the line and speak with the 9-1-1 Communicator.
Police want to ensure that resources are spent on dealing with actual emergencies and not calls made in error.
