WOODSTOCK - Residents of Woodstock can now report certain crimes online.
Chief of Police William Renton would like to inform members of our community that the Woodstock Police Service will now be offering on-line reporting for the following events:
- Damage/Mischief to Property
- Lost Property (Under $5000)
- Lost/Stolen Licence Plate
- Mischief/Damage to Vehicle (Under $5000)
- Theft (Under $5000)
- Theft from Vehicle (Under $5000)
You can find detailed instructions on how to complete the on-line reporting process by visiting the Woodstock Police Service web site online here.
Renton says they hope this will lead to more crimes being reported.
"As a community service, we believe that by offering on-line reporting we have opened another door for engagement with the public. Our service is proud to be investing in this technology, which continues to give our citizens an exceptional policing experience."
