WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service is reminding residents to have a fun long weekend, and also a safe one.
To drivers, remember that everyone is excited to get to their vacation destinations. Use caution on the road and always pay attention, buckle up and slow down.
If you are out on the water, remember that you must have a pleasure craft licence in order to drive, and that you can be charged for impaired driving a motorized boat.
As pools begin to open for the summer, be attentive of children in and around the swimming pool regardless of their swimming skill level.
and if attending or throwing a fireworks show over the weekend, remember to stay back from lit fireworks and always have water available incase of an emergency.
