The Woodstock Police are looking for a man after a robbery at CIBC.
A lone man entered the bank on Norwich Ave last night around 6:15 p.m. He approached three bank tellers and demanded money. He yelled profanity and pushed a duffle bag at the tellers, telling them to fill it with money. The man claimed to have a gun, but no weapon was seen throughout the robbery.
Once the man received an undisclosed amount of cash he fled north-west. The Woodstock Police called in the canine unit and Criminal Investigators, but the suspect got away.
One patron was inside the bank at the time of the robbery. No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a white man, between 5'7" - 6' with an average build. He was around 25-30 years in age with slight facial hair visible beneath the dark coloured balaclava he wore. His voice was deep, and his walk was authoritative. He was dressed in all dark clothing.
