A search warrant was executed today in Woodstock where drugs and cash were seized.
WOODSTOCK - Multiple divisions of the Woodstock Police Service conducted a drug bust.
A search warrant was executed today, resulting in two people being arrested. A 42-year-old was taken into custody and is facing one count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin), one count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – hydromorphone, one count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. Also, a 32-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants.
During the seizure, police found close to $9,500 worth of suspected fentanyl, crystal meth and hydromorphone, along with $450 in cash.
