Enjoy searching for eggs while meeting the Easter Bunny with new activities, a petting zoo, face painting, and more!
WOODSTOCK - The hunt is on! The City of Woodstock is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt at Victoria Park.
Spring has officially sprung with the first event to kick off 2024 in the community.
This year will have many activities with a new buster show, face painting, a petting zoo and more. You will even get to meet the Easter bunny, princesses and characters from Toy Story!
Manager of special events, Kristin Broadhagen shares some important information ahead of the hunt.
“The hunt is happening Saturday March 30th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets, and gather plastic eggs in exchange for a chocolate bunny and a bottle of bubbles.”
Parking will be available. There is free street parking at Victoria Park, or downtown lots that are also free.
Last year they gave away colouring books and a chocolate bunny, but decided to change it up this year. In addition to changes, they added some new activities, including a buster show that will start at 10:40 am.
For more information about the event, you can go to the city's website.
There will be several Easter egg hunts throughout Oxford County this weekend, and you can find all of the details online here.
