A 57-year-old from Woodstock has been charged with assault and forcible confinement.
WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid after Woodstock Police responded to a disturbance on Norwich Ave.
The call came in at around 9:30 p.m. on Friday.
Police say the responding officers tried to check on the occupants inside the home, but one of them was being uncooperative and refused to let them in. The people inside also had minor injuries as a result of an altercation.
Officers were able to arrest the suspect once he peacefully surrendered and they charged the 57-year-old with assault and forcible confinement.
The victims were treated by paramedics on scene.
