The Woodstock Police have shared information regarding a pair of incidents that they responded to in the City.
WOODSTOCK - A Woodstock man finds himself in trouble with the law.
On November 4th, the Woodstock Police received information about inappropriate communication sent to a 12-year-old. The Criminal Investigations Bureau conducted an investigation and found that the accused sent messages of a sexual nature over a social media app to the youth.
As a result, a 32-year-old has been charged with Luring a Person Under 14 Years of Age by Means of Telecommunication.

WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police have caught an impaired driver.
On November 26th, officers responded to the area of Mill Street and Athlone Ave after the report of a single-vehicle collision. The crash happened at 4 a.m. as a vehicle rolled, causing significant damage, and the driver was found a short distance away. The driver failed a roadside screening test, and further testing found he was above the legal limit.
As a result, a 41-year-old Ingersoll man is facing a count of operation while impaired, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
