Two Woodstock residents are facing charges after being arrested during a break-and-enter investigation by Woodstock Police.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have laid charges in a break-and-enter investigation.
Overnight this past Sunday, May 5th into Monday, May 6th, multiple calls came in regarding suspicious people at a business in the area of Tecumseh Street. Officers responded and found two suspects searching materials on the property.
The suspects fled on foot but were found a short time later. As a result of the investigation, two Woodstock residents were arrested and are now facing charges.
A 41-year-old has been charged with two counts of breaking, and entering a place with the intent to commit an indictable offence, one count of possessing counterfeit money and having it in their custody, along with one count of possessing break-in instruments. The second suspect is a 29-year-old, and they are facing two counts of breaking, and entering a place with the intent to commit an indictable offence, and one count of failing to comply with a probation order.
