Officers seized more than $270,000 worth of drugs from two properties in Brantford and one property in Paris earlier this week.
BRANT - Four people from Brantford have been charged in a more than $270,000 drug bust.
Woodstock Police launched a drug trafficking investigation back in January and the K9 unit teamed up Brantford Police to search three properties earlier this week. One was in Paris while the other two were in Brantford.
Officers uncovered $127,980 worth of cocaine, $144,320 worth of fentanyl, and $1,160 worth of prescription medication. They also seized $2,110 in Canadian cash and a 2016 Kia Sorrento SUV.
A 45-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman now face six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. They're both from Brantford, and the man is also facing five counts of operation while prohibited under the criminal code.
Two 27-year-old women also face four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and they also live in Brantford.
