Building on the success of the bottle drive, the Youth Suicide Prevention Group is hosting a food drive.
WOODSTOCK - The Youth Suicide Prevention Group is having a Halloween Food Drive.
Dana Chappel tells Heart FM they have decorated up a few boxes and placed them at local businesses in Woodstock.
"Andersons GM, you can find one at Leons, Heart FM, the Oxford Elgin Child and Youth Centre, and the Woodstock and Area Community House Centre."
Chappel says they wanted to build on the success of their recent bottle drive and the kids really wanted to give back to the food bank.
"They have done a lot of work with this, they have designed a poster, they've decorated boxes that are all ready to go, we have them driving around for the bottle drive, they went and got all the bottles, took them back, they saved the money, they made it happen all on their own."
They are hoping to deliver full boxes of food to the local banks after Halloween.
