Heart FM is proud to announce the launch of the new 1047.ca

Oxford County's #1 radio station is proud to announce the launch of the brand new 1047.ca

You may have noticed over the weekend that things have changed here. Gone is the old 1047.ca, and in its place is a new, more user-friendly version of the website you turn to for Local News, events and more.

We're still hard at work making sure that the user experience for 1047.ca is top notch, so there may be instances where things don't work quite as expected.

Some of the changes

You now can view each individual news story on separate pages. This was done so that each story gets the page time it deserves. It also makes the website easier to read, and easier to share! You will notice that there are like and share links for many popular social networks on the bottom of each post.

We will still be sharing our news stories to Facebook, so members of groups such as Woodstock Newsgroup or other local community Facebook pages can share and discuss the stories. We will not be sharing EVERY story, so as always, and with every other site on the internet, you can always directly share the URL if we don't post the story to our own Facebook page!

The news archive of stories from the past, will slowly be moved over. Unfortunately, because the links have a new URL you will have to update your links if you have a story bookmarked. This is natural for this type of progression.

Our new VIP club is much easier to user, to configure and we're excited about the future of the VIP club.

The new Events Calendar is much easier to add your community events to and to search for what's going on in the county! As always, you may add your own event and we'll make sure it is attached to the events calendar for all to see.

We're proud to introduce blogs! Each of your favourite personalities has a blog that they can upload content to and share with you, the listener! Our blogs and some news stories may also have comments enabled in the future!

We understand that the changes are different, but we truly believe that it will benefit everyone as the new website has many useful features, has a much cleaner design and helps make it EASY to find what you're looking for.
