NORWICH - The Norwich Community Center is hosting A Play Date with Emily Stowe Public School.
This year marks the school's 9th annual fundraiser.
The event is taking place tomorrow, Saturday, March 4th. The doors will open to the public at 4:00 p.m. and dinner is set to be served at 5:00 p.m. The live auction will begin at 7:00 p.m.
After a long pause in their fundraising initiatives due to the pandemic, staff and students at ESPS are excited and ready for some much-needed fundraising.
Emily Stowe Parent Council Member Lynne DePlancke says the school is looking to make multiple improvements.
They hope to complete the Maker Space accessed by all grades at ESPS. They are exploring STEAM tools. Looking at helping with the outdoor collaborating space, and enhancing outdoor activities, there's a healthy snack program. School trips, smart boards, and they want to focus on technology, literacy, and learning support for the classrooms."
Today is the last day to purchase tickets. They are only $35, and all proceeds will go back to improvements at the school. To purchase tickets, contact one of the Emily Stowe Home and School Association Members below:
