A 62-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder in Woodstock. The alleged victim in the case, is an 85-year-old relative. A 911 call came early Friday morning from a residence on Chieftain St. in Woodstock. Emergency crews arrived to find the elderly woman suffering from non-life threatening injuries. She's recovering in hospital. 62-year-old Leah Bank is charged with assault with a weapon and attempted murder. Police have not disclosed what the weapon was, or what relation the suspect is to the victim. Bank is being held in custody over the weekend with a court date set for Monday.
