The Trojans lead the Yeck Division while the Navy Vets sit on top of the Doherty Division.
PJHL - It was a fairly busy weekend for Oxford County's Junior C hockey teams.
The Woodstock Navy Vets shutout the New Hamburg Firebirds 4-0 Friday night, but they did suffer a 3-2 loss to the Tavistock Braves on Saturday. Tavistock also beat the Paris Titans 5-2 on Friday.
The Norwich Merchants slipped past the Wellesley Applejacks 4-3 in overtime on Friday, before losing to the Dorchester Dolphins 4-2 on Saturday.
The Navy Vets remain on top of the Doherty Division standings with 57 points. They're followed by the Braves with 54 points, the Applejacks with 51 points, and the Merchants and Firebirds with 47 points each. The Hespeler Shamrocks lead the bottom three with 30 points, one ahead of the Titans and five more than the last place Dolphins.
The Thamesford Trojans celebrated two wins in the Yeck Division, 4-1 over the North Middlesex Stars on Friday and 7-4 over the Lucan Irish on Saturday.
The Trojans now lead the Yeck Division standings with 52 points, only one point ahead of the Exeter Hawks, the Petrolia Flyers, and the Mount Brydges Bulldogs.
