The Oxford OPP have arrested and charged two people after reports of a break-and-enter.
NORWICH - Two out-of-towners are in trouble with Oxford OPP.
Yesterday at 5:50 p.m., officers were called to a property on Beaconsfield Road after reports of two people breaking into an unoccupied residence. The suspects were taken into custody at the scene, and a 51-year-old St. Thomas man and a 30-year-old Bayham man were charged with break and enter, along with theft under 5-thousand dollars... the 30-year-old is also facing two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
The 51-year-old was released and will appear in Woodstock Court in May, while the 30-year-old is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
