TORONTO/NEW YORK - It's official, Bo Bichette is moving to the Big Apple.
He finalized his contract with the New York Mets last night and it's a three year deal worth $126 million US.
Bichette will be introduced by the team during a press conference at Citi Field today.
He was a two-time All-Star short-stop with the Toronto Blue Jays, but now he's going to move to third base for the Mets. New York has Francisco Lindor as a short-stop, and Bichette has never played a professional game at third base before.
We have signed infielder Bo Bichette to a three-year contract with player options for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
