Woodingford Lodge is selling calendars featuring beautiful pictures of their flowers to raise funds.
Woodingford Lodge in Woodstock is looking to raise some funds to help keep their garden thriving for the residents.
They are selling calendars for $15 dollars. President of the Resident Council Judy Crane tells Heart FM what will be featured in the calendar.
"Mostly flowers; flowers or pictures of the garden at Woodingford Lodge."
Crane says all of the proceeds will go towards the upkeep and maintenance of their garden and she says they are honouring a former resident with the cover of the calendar.
"We have features on the front of the calendar: a picture that was done by Al White in 2014 and he passed away so we thought it was fitting to put his picture on the front of the calendar."
Recreation Aid at Woodingford Jennifer Beattie tells Heart FM the garden means a lot to the residents.
"Showcase some of the beautiful flowers we have growing and a lot of the residents helped to plant the gardens and pick out the flowers, so we thought it would be a nice edition to the rooms to have something to look at each month."
You can purchase the calendars at the Woodingford Lodge or by calling 519-421-5556 and ask to have one or more calendars put away as they only have 200 available.
