The Embro Fire Department will be hosting a Canada Day fireworks display at the Embro Truck and Tractor Pull site this Friday and there will be COVID-19 safety protocols in effect.
EMBRO - The Embro Fire Department will light up the night sky this Canada Day weekend.
It's going to host a fireworks display at the site of the Embro Truck and Tractor Pull on July 2nd, in hopes that a Friday night event will result in a better turnout. There will be COVID-19 protocols in effect.
Firefighter Gerry Brandow says it's going to be a great show.
"We've had a really good commitment from all of the sponsors and we've had good donations come in. It's looking like we're going to have a $10,000 show and it will probably go for 20 to 25 minutes."
It free to watch but donations will be accepted, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Embro splash pad fundraiser.
The show will be rescheduled for Saturday July 3rd if it happens to rain.
