The 25th annual Canada's Outdoor Farm Show will feature new additions and old favourites this week.
WOODSTOCK - Canada's Outdoor Farm Show is celebrating its 25th anniversary this week.
The opening ceremonies will get underway at 10:30 a.m. at Canada's Outdoor Park today.
Communications Manager Amanda Mcfarlane says they're expecting a big turnout over the next couple of days.
"Last year we broke our record attendance with 43,900 people over the three days of the show. We could break that again this year but we know we will at least be close to it; especially without 25th anniversary there's a lot of excitement and hype going on around that."
Mcfarlane says they have some new additions to the show this year, including their Farmers Edge Knowledge Tent.
"This is an educational speaker program that's going to give farmers new ideas to use digital agronomy, inside into volatile trade markets, consider their own health and dealing with difficult family issues like succession planning."
Of course you can also expect to see the popular Britespan Dairy Innovation Centre and livestock demonstrations as well.
The three day event will wrap up on Thursday September 13th. You can find more information online here.
