City Council has approved three-hours of free parking in all municipal lots without a permit.
WOODSTOCK - Changes are on the horizon for downtown parking in the City of Woodstock.
The Downtown BIA proposed some changes to city council back in March, so staff looked into it and compiled a report breaking down all of the options. It was included on yesterday's city council agenda.
When all was said and done, council decided to approve three-hours of free parking in all municipal lots without a permit. The city is also going to introduce an interchangeable permit system, and allow drivers to pay through an app or a business partner.
The by-law language is also going to simplified for enforcement.
You can read the full report from city staff online here.
