Each family will go home with a free pumpkin, while supplies last.
INGERSOLL - It's Pumpkin Fest weekend in Ingersoll!
The annual fall festival is set to takeover the Ingersoll Cheese and Agriculture Museum from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. tomorrow. Museum Programmer Monica Van Ittersum says they will have thousands of pumpkins on site.
"The pumpkins are kind of put up in a pile all around the museum. They're not carved or anything, they are just plain pumpkins but we do give a free pumpkin to each family. It is one per family and it's while supplies last."
The pumpkins were donated by the Kiwanis Club of Ingersoll, Trembletts Independent, Ingersoll Paper Box, and Turner's Farm Market.
The free event also includes an all-ages costume contest, lawn games, and live music. There will also be over 50 vendors on site and lots of food trucks as well.
Van Ittersum recommends coming early to get your pumpkin, and coming hungry so you can enjoy all the food trucks.
"It's rain or shine, but the weather is looking pretty good tomorrow so we're excited about that! We usually get over 6,000 people to this event so it's a huge deal for Ingersoll."
