The CMHA is trying to make it easier for everyone to access the help they need through free walk-in clinics
The Canadian Mental Health Association is teaming up with the Woodstock Hospital, Oxford Elgin Child and Youth Centre, and the United Way of Oxford to offer free walk in counselling across the County.
Right now they have clinics set up in Tillsonburg, Ingersoll, Tavistock, and Woodstock. They are also working on setting up a clinic in Norwich. Executive Director of the CMHA Oxford Mike McMahon tells Heart FM who would benefit from the counselling.
"I hope that people take a look at it and see that it is counselling for whatever they might need help with: that might be a financial crisis, a mental health related crisis or a relationship crisis. We want everyone to know that services are available and someone is ready and willing to talk to you."
