The frigid temperatures continue in Oxford County, and Southwestern Public Health has extended its cold weather alert.
SWPH - Southwestern Public Health is advising everyone to protect themselves from the cold.
This includes staying inside as much as possible... and bundling up if you have to go outdoors. Temperatures are being forecasted at minus 15, and windchill factors at or around negative 30. The freezing temperatures are expected to stick around until Saturday, which has made SWPH issue a cold weather alert.
Those in need of a place to warm up can visit one of the warming centres listed on the health unit's website. This includes the Tillsonburg Community Centre, Ingersoll Memorial Arena, and Operation Sharing in Woodstock.
Environment Canada has also issued a Yellow Warning for the cold temperatures.
