The Woodstock Navy Vets and the Norwich Merchants had their games postponed yesterday due to the weather.
PJHL - The Woodstock Navy Vets unexpectedly had the weekend off.
They were supposed to visit the Hespeler Shamrocks yesterday afternoon, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather.
The Norwich Merchants also had their game against the Wellesley Applejacks postponed yesterday due to inclement weather, but they were able to beat the Dorchester Dolphins 4-1 on Friday.
The Tavistock Braves celebrated a 5-2 victory over the New Hamburg Firebirds on Friday as well.
The Navy Vets remain on top of the Doherty Division standings with 50 points, followed by the Applejacks with 48 points, the Braves with 44 points, and Merchants and Firebirds tied with 41 points each. The Shamrocks sit in fifth place with 30 points, the Paris Titans are in sixth place with 25 points, and the Dolphins sit at the bottom of the standings with 20 points.
Over in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans suffered a 6-3 loss to the Aylmer Spitfires on Friday.
Thamesford sits in fifth place in the Yeck Division standings with 41 points, behind the Exeter Hawks with 42 points, the Mount Brydges Bulldogs with 44 points, the North Middlesex Stars with 45 points, and the Petrolia Flyers with 46 points.
