Police say it is remarkable both drivers were able to walk away after a crash between a dump truck and a transport on Highway 2 and Puttown Road.
BRANT COUNTY - Police say a driver is lucky to be alive today after a dump truck collided with a transport truck on Highway 2 and Puttown Road.
One driver was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries while the other was treated at the scene with minor injuries. The crash involved a duel dump truck and another fully loaded steel truck. The crash has caused a diesel spill on the roadway.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says it is remarkable that both drivers were able to walk away from this one.
"We do have a mess down here and this driver is lucky to be alive."
The road is going to be closed for about 6 hours at Highway 2 and Puttown Road to allow for an investigation and the clean up. Charges are pending against at least one of the drivers.
