YMCA annual Easter Egg Hunt set to go Saturday
Kids will be gathering in Southside Park Saturday morning hunting for their Easter goodies.
The YMCA again this year are hosting their Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Tip O'Neill Field in the park.
YMCA Child & Youth Program Coordinator, Jessica Elliott says they have plenty of activities planned for the event. "We have Easter eggs scattered all over the field and then we have specially marked eggs that you can find as well and we're going to have a special Easter guest coming in at some point and then we have little candies and prizes to give out."
They also have relay and parachute games as well as face painting planned for the kids.
The Easter egg hunts begin at 10:00 am with kids ages 2-5.
11:00 am to 12:00 pm is for kids ages 6-8 and then the kids ages
9-10 get their turn from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
Elliott says the event is free to the public and will go rain or shine. She does suggest bringing along the rubber boots in case the field is a little muddy.
