Rural Roads Health Services has been thriving with an environmental committee, which was started about one year ago.
INGERSOLL/TILLSONBURG - Rural Road Health Services has a thriving committee.
It was about a year ago that the Enviro Collaboration Always Rewards Everyone Committee was created, with the commitment to sustainability, promoting environmental practices and reducing its carbon footprint within the community. This committee is composed of a dedicated team of team members, volunteers and Board Members. CEO/President of RRHS, Nadia Facca, is thrilled for the committee and the work they are doing.
"Having our team members work together in this way shows our responsibility and our commitment to a safe and healthy environment."
The Committee has achieved starting programs, including a printer cartridge recycling program, a styrofoam recycling program, and a reusable bag campaign. The Enviro C.A.R.E. Committee has empowered the organization to take action to benefit the workplace and community through low-cost, attainable initiatives. They want to raise public awareness about recycling, waste reduction, and stockpiling.
