Residents displaced by flood at Woodingford Tillsonburg have a place to temporarily call home.
The situation of displaced seniors due to flooding at Woodingford Lodge in Tillsonburg is starting to settle.
Tillonsburg District Memorial Hospital is taking on the lion's share of the patients that were evacuated on the weekend. TDMH will be accommodating 24 of the 32 residents.
Meantime, five will remain at the Ingersoll Woodingford Lodge, and three at the Woodstock Woodingford Lodge.
The County says they're in constant contact with the family members of the seniors involved, and the resident's health, safety and privacy needs are being attended to.
The extent of the water damage from a burst water valve is still being assessed, and there is no timeline as to when residents will be able to return.
