Over 20 collisions were called in on Oxford OPP patrolled roads during the first big snowfall of the season.
OXFORD COUNTY - The first significant snow fall in Oxford County had drivers all over the road.
Communications Officer with Oxford OPP, Randi Crawford says officers responded to over 20 collisions between the hours of 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 5:00 a.m. today.
“They happened all over our County, from East Zorra-Township, or EZT as I refer to it, Southwest Oxford, with most of them being on the 401 and the 403.”
Crawford speaks to the severity of the crashes.
“We are fortunate this time that there were no serious injuries reported. A fair bit of damage however, so again we like to tell people that any type of motor vehicle collision affects you and affects others.”
When driving conditions become tough, the Oxford OPP reminds you to take caution and use patience when on the roads.
