A crash between 3 transport trucks shuts down 401 Eastbound
The Eastbound lanes of Highway 401 between the 403 and Drumbo Road have reopened after a fatal crash yesterday.
Three transport trucks were involved in a collision that happened around 10 o'clock Friday morning.
55 year old Pierre Pelletier of Franklin, Quebec was pronounced dead at the scene, another was taken to hospital by ambulance, and a third driver was picked up from the scene by a relative.
Eastbound traffic is being diverted off the 401 for several hours yesterday.
