Impaired Drivers Busted in Paris

Both of the drivers were charged in completely separate incidents on Saturday.

PARIS - A woman from Brant County is facing charges after going through a RIDE check in Paris.

Officers stopper her vehicle on Grand River Street South at around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday.

The 32-year-old is now facing one count of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and one count of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80. She has a court date in Brantford next month.

PARIS - A Brant County driver has been charged with impaired driving after an incident in a parking lot.

Saturday at 1:30 a.m., officers were called to a parking lot on Pinehurst Road in Paris, where a vehicle was driving erratically.

As a result, they charged a with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available. He'll appear in a Brantford court room in May.
