OPP have some new information today on the robbery of an Ingersoll cab driver earlier this week. The cabbie had his cash and car stolen at knifepoint at the Ingersoll Golf Club at 1:30 Thursday morning. Police have been contacted by a homeowner on Tunis St. who spotted two men wearing black clothing and masks in their backyard. The woman yelled at them and they took off, running towards Centre St. This was around 10:20PM, and the woman reported they were carrying a 3-foot long pole. Police continue to try and track down the suspects. Anyone with info should contact Oxford OPP at 519-688-6540 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
