CANADA - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has expanded it's recall of Kinder brand chocolates to include more products.
It's now warning people to avoid Kinder Advent Calendars, Kinder Surprise Frozen, Kinder Surprise Trolls and Kinder Surprise The Smurfs with best before dates ranging from March 2nd 2022 to November 29th 2022.
Officials say the chocolates could be affected by the salmonella outbreak in Europe and the UK. No illnesses have been reported in Canada so far.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued for first Kinder chocolate outbreak last Wednesday. The list included 10 products including Kinder Mini Eggs, the Kinder Mix Egg Hunt Kit and the Kinder Schoko-Bons.
