Friday afternoon's snowfall led to a tragic car wreck. A 28-year-old woman and her three-year-old son died in a multi-vehicle crash near Caledonia. Police say the woman was driving an SUV northbound on the Highway 6 bypass yesterday afternoon when, for some unknown reason, it crossed the centre line and was hit by a southbound transport truck. Four other vehicles were hit by the SUV. The woman died at the scene, while her son died after being airlifted to hospital in Hagersville. They've been identified this morning as Amanda Fleming and Denver Sherk. The drivers of the other vehicles involved were not seriously hurt. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
